The following are just a few of the common questions we get. Should you have any other concerns or things you would like to clarify or discuss, feel free to contact us via the "contact us" page on this site.
We started at the St Paul Farmer's Market in the summer of 99. With the overwhelming support received; we began direct delivery to sites throughout the greater Twin Cities area, with a general theme; quality and good taste need to be in every soup. We come as close to homemade as possible. However, homemade is time consuming and not everyone always has this flexibility. So, when looking for a substitute for a hearty, healthy "scratch" batch, Soluppa's All Natural Soups are the next best. We now delivery directly in the 5 state Upper Midwest. Enjoy!
We truly are sorry for the inconvenience and will be improving the lid soon. However, when beginning, we had to choose between a safe seal versus customer convenience. We chose safety; because we could not afford an expensive film sealer machine. This is coming soon...........promise. It's not as hard as you may think:
Presto! You now have access to soup.
Our 4 cornerstones plus our axiom of "once its in it can't be taken out to reach each of these, we need to think "outside the box", for creative & tasty solutions. This can be a lengthy process. And we will constantly introduce new blends for your enjoyment.
" The shelf life is listed on each soup's label at approximately 5-6 weeks. Its shown on each label. " It is a perishable item, similar to dairy products. Thus, keep it refrigerated and consume within a reasonable time once it has been opened.
It can be frozen upon the customer's discretion. However, it should be consumed immediately upon defrosting and heating. In fact, some blends such as the the Tomato Basil, Split Pea Rosemary & other legume and bean based soups freeze quite well. The ones with larger vegetable pieces are more susceptible to freezing & defrosting issues relating to freshness.
In the refrigerated, reach-in areas of Deli or Dairy sections of your finest grocery stores. If its not there simply ask for it!
......what is the difference. To us it is a mutual goal of safe & healthy foods for our bodies and the environment. We use organic or freshly grown ingredients in each soup variety;...no preservatives. Each ingredient is evaluated with a common focus on health and taste. Even though we use organic vegetables such as tomato, green bean, corn, & carrots, we say "All Natural". ("Organic" is often used loosely on labels today. Read carefully on each label.)
Absolutely! Go to the "Order" page for further details on how to get it in larger, 1 gallon bags. In grocery stores, we are in a 750ml container or approximately 3 full servings, (26 ounces).
